Can I use my overseas drivers licence?
Yes. However, if your drivers licence is not printed in English you will need to arrange for an International Drivers Licence or call to discuss with us. You must be over 21 years of age to hire a rental car in New Zealand.
What kind of drivers licence do I need to hire with The Rental Car Company?
In order to drive one of our rental cars you need to have a full licence that is printed with English characters. If the licence is not in English characters then you will need to supply a translated licence or call us to discuss.
What is the cost of collision damage waiver (CDW) insurance?
CDW is available from as little as $10.00 per day. With this cover, the insurance excess can be reduced to $250. Please discuss with our staff at the time of pick up.
